Kitchens
Frequently renovated in the same year, sometimes by the same partner.
Water finds every shortcut. A tiler who rushes the falls, or a fitter who skips the tanking, leaves you a problem that hides behind the tiles for two years. Tell us what you are planning and we will introduce bathroom specialists whose work stands up to daily use.
So we can match you accurately, the enquiry asks whether the project is a full renovation, a partial refit or installation only; which room it is (family bathroom, en suite, cloakroom or wet room); the current condition of the room; whether you want to keep the existing layout or change it; and whether any accessibility adaptations are needed.
Every question has a “not sure yet” option. You do not need to have decided anything before you talk to us.
Cheap bathroom installs fail behind the tiles: falls that do not drain, tanking that was never done, silicone doing the job of a waterproof membrane. We only introduce companies whose work we would be happy to put our name to.
Trading history, public liability insurance and relevant accreditations, all checked before any bathroom specialist is introduced.
Every partner submits photographs of completed bathrooms with their application. Waterproofing and drainage are exactly where we expect the evidence.
A small number of suitable specialists, chosen deliberately for your project. Never an open auction on price.
A few guided questions about the room, its condition and what you want to change.

What this page will show once our founding partners have work to photograph.
This is Kalvaro artwork, not a photograph. We have deliberately not filled this page with stock images of somebody else’s bathroom, because presenting bought imagery as a partner’s own work is exactly the sort of thing we exist to avoid.
As our founding partners complete bathroom projects, their photographs will replace this, with their permission and their name against the work.
No. Many owners come to us with nothing more than a room they dislike. Tell us where you have got to and we will introduce professionals who can help from that point, including with design and supply.
A walk-in shower is an enclosure with a low tray. A wet room does away with the tray: the whole floor is tanked and laid to a fall so water drains away. It looks simpler but is harder to build well, because the waterproofing has to be perfect. It is a job for a specialist, and that is who we would introduce.
Yes. Accessibility adaptations are a distinct specialism with their own products, regulations and installation experience, so the enquiry asks about them specifically. We will introduce professionals with genuine adaptation experience rather than a general fitter.
Often, yes, but it depends on where the soil pipe runs and what the floor allows. Moving waste routes is where budgets move too, which is why the enquiry asks whether you want to keep or change the layout. The professionals we introduce will tell you plainly what your room allows.
The professional you choose does, directly with you. Kalvaro makes the introduction and takes no part in pricing, so we neither set nor guarantee what the work will cost.
It depends on the scope and on drying times, which cannot honestly be rushed: tanking and adhesives need to cure before tiling. The professionals we introduce will give you a realistic schedule for your specific room, and tell you if you will need to plan around it.
